Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 49. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.

Thanks Mac!
I'm glad you enjoy them. Sometimes I surprise myself.

Gene,
A few people still keep sheep around here and to this day a skinny sheep still catches my attention.

Thanks Ginny!
You probably missed a lot of these on FB, so at least they're new to you.
Hahahaha! Overtaxed!

Seil,
It's always possible to be sliding right into spring!

Jeanne,
I've seen many, very puffy robins, looking for food on a snowy March day.

Jim,
I don't see woodpeckers like I used t and I miss them. Flickers too.

Anna,
DD also has a farm but only a few cows to ''qualify.'' She's been gathering papers for taxes too.

Skits,
It's going to be awesome here too over the weekend.

Grocery day and a good long walk with the sun on my face!

Jeanne, this was Feb. 13, 2011, and it was -5°.

Story Time:

Trees

Studies show hugging a tree is good for you. It releases a hormone responsible for feeling calm and can absorb negative energy. I believe that.

I grew up climbing trees. I probably still can if the branches are low enough. I remember how it felt to find the perfect tree and go as high as I could as fast as I could and I've climbed trees when I was mad and sad.

But I never came back down that way.
A small town has no secrets except itself
