I know with me it was the fear of getting it in acidic soil. I didn't want to keep fussing with the soil trying to keep it happy. I'm a plant it and forget it kind of girl. Then one day I noticed a volunteer with the same flowers as Blueberry. As soon as I verified it was, in fact, a Blueberry I immediately planted 3 more!
