Don't know if I qualify as a "Cottage" garden, but I guess I have chives and sage growing with the flowers, so maybe I'm close. Maybe the North star cherry tree right there makes it offical. lol. I have most of my vegies growing in a separate garden, although I sometimes plant sun flowers among them. CeCe, I think I'm close to you, I'm in Janesville. I love Iris too, have over 300 of them.

Some more Iris. I include some asiatic lillies, that bloom right after the iris, then some day lilies, that bloom right after the asiatic's

I love the pasque flower, one of the first blooms of spring each year.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
