We're just north of Spokane here and it does get pretty toasty in the summer. A/C is very necessary! Didn't realize the coast stayed that cool. Hmmm, maybe you need a GH or even just a hoop house to get those tomatoes warm enough. We had neighbors in Eastern OR who grew their tomatoes in raised beds inside their GH all summer long.
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.
