Daylilies & hardy hibiscus
Oh, my. I just can't stop myself. I know this one is older, and it's more or less another yellow self, and some might find it dull.

I love it, though. A nocturnal, extended bloom, rebloom, fragrant tetraploid? It's like my perfect daylily. It's similar to 'Smuggler's Gold', which is cool. They'll probably end up beside each other so I can compare and contrast...if CM's rebloom coincides with SG's midseason bloom time.

Mind you, I'm not hybridizing. Also, I THINK having "only" 204 cultivars will sometimes allow me to just stop and smell the daylilies. Increasing deadheading (or liveheading, in my case) from 24 to 204, however, will be quite a task!

Hardy hibiscus are a hobby, but daylilies are an obsession.
