The North Carolina Botanic Garden has their annual NC Wildflower of the year seed giveaway now.

They require you reside in one of the 12 surrounding states of the Southeast (read their included states East of the Mississippi), and send a SASE.

This years Wildflower seed is:

Common golden alexanders
Zizia aurea
