Calif_Sue said:I got this email from our neighbor across the street, he sent it out to all 27 neighbors and I truly think it's worth sharing, it even touches on the question of reinfection.
After watching this, I will be making masks!
The following is quoted from the neighbor's email:

This morning I received an email from one of my former students Colleen who attended Santa Rosa JC, earned her BS from UC Davis followed by her MD from Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Colleen Finnegan has served as Chief of the Infectious Disease Dept. for Kaiser in Portland OR for the past two decades. She thought that the following message and video link that were sent to her should be shared widely and I agree.

Friends and family,

This is something really worth watching. Dr. David Price is a specialist in the Pulmonary and Critical Care unit at Weill Cornell Medical Center in NY and is in the middle of the NY COVID-19 firefight. I do not know him, and have never heard of him, but I did check him out. His dad is an ER Physician at another hospital in New York I believe.

Anyway, last Sunday, March 22nd, he did a Zoom meeting with his extended family to talk to them about what was happening. As you'll see, one of his family was smart enough to record it, and published it this week on Vimeo (there are now scores of copies on Youtube, linked below). It has really made me feel better, and explained a lot about the virus.

The first 20 minutes are devoted to HOW TO AVOID COVID-19. It clears up some of the myths about getting the disease from the air when you're not in close contact with a person who has the disease. Know where your hands are and constantly keep them clean with Purell. And DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE. The #1 point.

His position is that if you do these two things the chances of getting the disease is reduced by 99%. Know where your hands are and keep them clean. Keep your hands off your face.
