Thanks, Rosie, like you said "Everyone has an opinion, like the liver and onions, I don't mind the taste of spinach, your ideas will help it taste better! The sight of the cooked wilted spinach never appealed to me!

Question about rolled oats, an ingredient in this recipe: Does it matter if you use old-fashioned or quick rolled oats? If a recipe calls for quick oats can you substitue the old-fashioned? Probably depends on cooking time or other factors. Thanks!

End of recipe has ideas for substituting ingredients.
She prefers using some whole wheat pastry flour.
Also, in place of buttermilk, may use plain yogurt.
This recipe includes cinnamon, officially!
