Because I want to save and share seeds, I hardly ever buy an F1 hybrid seed if I can avoid it.
The exception is 'Sungold' Cherry tomatoes. I tried a plant once, and really liked it.
I've learned not to buy seed packets with a mix of colors, because usually the saved seed colors come out mixed and muddy.
