Salvias make me sighhhh with pleasure. If I was a plant collector this would be my plant of choice.
I have a new garden. I have lived with red clay— and compost and amend. But 2 years ago I moved from Atlanta to NW Al.
I have encountered "chirt". Grumbling Grumbling Grumbling Grumbling Grumbling Grumbling Grumbling
It is definitely an enemy of most salvias. If I had moola I would replace all my soil but unfortunately—
I have killed more plants in the last two years than the the last 30 years of gardening. Well it feels that way Thank You! for listening.
On a brighter note a friend brought me a gift of 12 Lady in Red salvias. Nice - real nice— sighhhhh Angel
