They are paeonia daurica ssp mlokosewitschii .
It says they grow 30 cm and have yellow flowers.

Another packet of paeonia daurica ssp mlokosewitschii came as dry seeds.
That one says it grows to 80 or 90 cm. and gives yellow flowers.

I have sown both as winter sows---keeping them warm first for a few weeks---then out to the cold and weather in the jugs.
