You can construct a movable cage for grass feeding as well. Some have wheels, but I just drag mine around, it's not that heavy. Our dogs would injure our fowl....probably.
The door on mine is very simple too. The chicken wire just bends over when you open the door, and it's kept closed with a bungee cord.
