How should I harvest and store brugmansia cuttings next fall so that I can get them through the winter?

1. Should they come from any particular part of the bush?

2. Should the ends be sealed? With what?

3. Should they be refrigerated?

4. Should they be kept in sealed moist bags?

5. What other factors are important?

Can I take cuttings from this growing season and root and plant them to grow this season?
Maybe it takes a long time to grow, but remember that if nobody plants it, nobody has it.
