I have grown both 1884 and Henderson's Pink Ponderosa but I didn't notice the similarity. Next year side-by-side. Tatiana's has list both 1884 and 1884 Purple which looks much darker. She likes the Purple more than the regular. A relationship between the 1884s and Hendersons in not mentioned in the history but lots of the old tomato varieties are similar but different (if that is an explanation).

I need to see if 1884 Purple is available for 2021. Crazy! Just planted this year's seedlings and I am making plans for next year. Thanks a lot guys.
