Daylilies & hardy hibiscus
I did one other thing today: I re-potted Nowhere to Hide. One fan is all have left of the big clump I had dug last year at Lakeview. That's the problem with reusing commercial pots that don't drain well enough: root rot. NtH was in the same kind of pot as Persian Pattern, which I couldn't save.

Anyhoo...I'd already moved NtH into a good nursery pot, but it was too deep in its soil and the soil surface was down too deep in the pot. The fan was also way off center, which I've got to say was driving OCD Ken to distraction.

NtH seems much happier now, planted closer to the surface, higher up in the pot, and centered.

Hardy hibiscus are a hobby, but daylilies are an obsession.
