I have always disliked margarine --bleck! For a while, it was almost difficult to get real butter, still is in many restaurants...
I'm so glad it's making a comeback though
I have some seedlings to share
First is the wide shot so you can get an idea of relative height
(I have a little trouble with SDBs and MDBs not reading the 'instructions' on their registered heights and just doing whatever they please sometimes
)
Anyway, I had five sibling seedlings that I threw in here because I had no where else to put them.
I got three shorties, front-center in the blue circles, and two talls behind them with the blue arrows
On the left, clump is the fantasy fling imposter, whitish clump is Snow Peas in back of the seedlings, and over on the right, is Skyray and Sapphire Gem (in the back-back ground are several MDB in with the semps and shorter SDBs)
these two started around the end of April and have been rather floriferous and both smell good
this was the first to open and looks similar to it's pod parent, but is shorter, smaller, redder purple falls, standards have less yellow and more pronounced stripey thing up the center
the little blue-ish one 'reads' blu-ish most of the time, but is lavender based
I love everything about it
Last of these three to open is this mini with a single stalk and fairly large flower (no spurs, sadly)
only decent pic I got, but it had nice form fully opened. It's actually still hanging out there on day 4 for that one and only bloom, but it looked a little sad today so I didn't take its pic
Here's the 'early' tall
It's Asa's favorite, and this is his fine photo of it.
Smells divine, clean tailored form, nice branching and loaded, putting on a fine show right now. Hopefully he'll find a spot for it in front of the tomatoes, because it can't stay there
The other tall is still working on sending up stalks...it can't stay there either
This is an IB seedling affectionately known as 'BBB'
Bonnie's Bee-Baby
I love it's blue spots
