Thank you all for the help identifying the poppy. I'm so excited to know what it is! My mother in law had a master gardener friend who was elderly and wanted to get rid of a whole bunch of plants. I showed up with a shovel and started digging. Got lots of surprises!

One more time covering my blooms and buds this evening. Hopefully the weather will come around and stay nice. I had a few more blooms open today.

Since we have more hands at home now with school being done early, we decided to raise chicks. It's been a learning adventure.
