Lady bugs also feed on nectar
i am into mostly herbs so these will attract your ladybugs
yarrow, dill, fennel; tansy, calendula
I suggest planting the herbs along with your veggies , my herb bed is in the middle oof the garden

...as for flowers cosmos and coreopsis are good choices and they also attract butterflies.
..a balanced life is worth pursuit.
