You know, a weird story comes to mind, since we are talking about cats.

One of our very close friends (a neighbor) had their cat missing for 3 days (they have 6 cats all in all, 3 males and 3 females).

There is this community website/app called "nextdoor" where people post things that are happening in the neighborhood.

So my friend went on there (the website), and found out that someone posted something about her cat.

She told the person that it was her cat, and the person came and dropped it off. It seemed like they really wanted to keep the cat though, and they were being really mean to my friend about giving the cat back.

Then, the same cat went missing again. He eventually came back, and he had a cut on his face.

The same people who had taken the cat came to my friend's door later that day, and said that he (the cat) should be taken to the vet (how would the person know about the cut?).

Now, all three of her male cats are missing (one for almost a month now, one for 2 weeks, and the other for 2 weeks as well).

Not saying that it was this family that was taking the cats, because I have no evidence, but I do find it strange that as soon as this family got involved with my friend's cats they all of the sudden started disappearing.
