actually, s/r & pullets are the same price at most feed stores I've found. I'll head there this afternoon & see what they got. Tomorrow's uberbusy & they're closed on Sundays.

EDIT: Ok, went to the feed store. The two mottled ones are "New Hampshires" and the one that's mostly all yellow is a "Buff Orpington". They were $3.50 / ea

Looks like they're all pullets. The New Hampshires will start producing eggs at like 5-6 months and the buff is either an egger or a meat bird. Smiling Only problem is that I don't eat that many eggs and DH doesn't eat eggs at all. Maybe I can give 'em to family like once a week? At least I know that they're 100% organic!
