do they ever feed them... likely 10's of thousands of dollard a year .. they give them nuts of all sorts.. as well as lots of bird foood.. many squirrels will approach you with a nut and take it out of your hand... if that one won't.. there will soon be one there approaching to to receive it... the ones in my local park.. then climb one building.. to get to the back yards of my block.. then climb my fire escape and plant their nut in my planters.. I bet I remove a pound of peanuts in their shell every year when I go thrugh fluffing it out in the spring... removing old roots before planting.. also get ... with no oaks in sight and other park and garden items... courtesy of the well kept squrrels
