Thanks, Lin. I often hear people complain about azaleas having too short of a bloom period. But if earlier and later varieties are planted, that bloom period is extended to at least six weeks or more here. Mine are all across the front of the house and interplanted with Glossy Abelias that then blooms all summer long. And when Azaleas are in bloom, how can you top them? ♥

These were here when I moved in so I had to give them a good big pruning and get some good acid fertilizer around them, but, boy, did they ever reward that.
I garden for the pollinators.
