Wow, BigAppleRose Guy/David! What a nice-looking Ascot! I purchased and grew Ascot years ago. It did not look like yours, which is what I wanted. I was not pleased! I believe Ascot what left behind when we sold our home instead of being among the roses that were re-homed/gifted.

Thank you for posting. I have to research this rose again and see if it could be a possibility for a TX garden!

Glad to learn that Freedom Garden offers it versus only having a multiflora option (not sure how it performs here).
