IMHO I would think it just depends on the culprit. If it's just because it needs sun then I would think that potting it in whatever you plant to pot the others in would be fine. What are planning to use for the others, the MG as well?
I personally wouldn't use straight Miracle Grow potting soil, I would mix in some pine bark with it. Mona (monalisa18 on here) uses the Miracle Grow potting MIx with pine bark at a 50% ratio I believe and hers do fine. I just use straight pine bark mixed with 10% sand (along with the other stuff mentioned above)
If it's just for short term potting then it should be ok since the ph would be better (which is supposed to be around 6.5) than the soil it's in now if that's the reason for the chlorisis. Plus it does have fertilizer in it for nutrients. Here's what is in the potting mix. I would think the "some contain Osmocote' would refer to the mixes that feed for up to 6 months.
POTTING SOIL: **Peat moss (the major component that is harvested from natural peat bogs) **compost (the compost may contain animal manures, composted leaves, grass clippings, and/or composted bark). **perlite (white volcanic rocks used for drainage and soil texture) **Some contain 'Osmocote' fertilizer that looks like small clear fluid-filled balls
Hope this helps

We crossed posted. Yes you should feed it no matter what you pot it up in. The fish emulsion is great and alfalfa is awesome. I also use Miracle Grow water soluble. Some people wait a few weeks or a little more to begin foiliar fertilizing to give the roots some time to reestablish.
