We have two ornamental cherry trees on the parking strip outside our house. I curse them all summer as they shade what little sun my front yard gets, but boy are they sure a sight for sore eyes right about now. The weather turned cold after they bloomed, so I think they will have short year, but they do look beautiful now. The hummingbirds have been flitting around the blossoms, it would be great if they could get nutrition from there. My attempts at sugar water passing as nectar must be getting pretty old by now. Poor things.
When will the moon be right for planting blooms?
