Well, Asiatics would be pretty much fool proof. I think she's looking for a list, i.e. a variaty she can choose from as far a description of red based on other peoples satisfation of 'Red'. I referred her to The Lily Nook as a Canadian grower/source. I'm basically a Trumpet/ Aurelian person so my growing experience with red Asiatic types is limited to Red Alert, Red Velvet, Commander n Chief and a small red pixie border NOID. The person is a newbie. I'm sure anyone of us regulars here could grow just about any division there with our know how. But for a newbie, I think Asiatics is a good 'starter'.
