I have power so that's not an issue. I do run a fan all winter and spring since the gh is heated. And I have a gravel floor in mine as well. Since I do have a few extra seedlings, it might be worth the experiment. First time I heard that the air movement deters the spider mites - I thought it was misting with water that did the trick. Always open to new techniques.
