Thanks everyone! They both came thru their respective surgeries just fine. Both are home from the hospital now too. The hard part now will be keeping them resting easy now for a few days. Bridger will be 4 in April, and has a new puppy and a twin brother and another brother a year and half year younger at home too. Dr said no bike riding, or riding of anything for 3 weeks at least, and limited activity of all kinds for several days. I'm thinking that's going to be tough Hilarious! Hilarious! Sis, on the other hand, will be another problem, as she is just finishing lambing and starting on calving season, and thinks she should be in the sheep barn the whole time. She wants to be out pitching hay, feeding, climbing on the tractor, digging holes for the raspberries, etc. and is pretending hard that she feels fine. The Dr said she has some infection, put her on some antibiotics, and had a harder time than expected. He says he has never seen gall stones that big, as one of them is the size of a golf ball. That's the one that he had problems with, and had to make a bigger incision than expected to get it out. So, 1 less gall bladder and no more stones now, and 3 small incisions, and 1 larger one. She is one tough lady, and I know her kids and hubby will have their hands full with her! Rolling on the floor laughing When they discharged her, she made her hubby take her to the grocery store and to Walmart to get the oil changed on the Tahoe, as long as they were in town! Then she made him stop and get her something to eat, as she said it was lunch time and she was hungry, and needed to eat before going home to check on the sheep and cows! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Should be a very interesting next few days! Big Grin
