Quick trip up to lake yesterday. Bluebonnets were already out and just beautiful. These were taken on a little highway going into Kingsland, TX. All I had was my smart phone to take pics. The flowers were covering both sides of the highway. They were growing in the rocks too. Weren't many places to pull over safely, though.
The ones in Austin (on Loop 360) are just starting to peek out.
