Hello,

My 'Killer' plants have recently changed color. Our weather jumped to 80-90 F and a week without precipitation. Yesterday, it rained. They get filtered weak light in the morning to strong filtered light in the evening. NW area of garden under the canopy of an Austrian Pine (Pinus nigra) that has branches trimmed up to 6ft. A couple weeks ago, they were very black. These are 1 year old plants (original purchased at Lowes as 'Killer' on the tag) rooted from last year's offsets. Planted In a shallow glazed terra cotta pot. Planted with my oldest compost mixed with sand, pea gravel, tiny red lava rock, and a touch of horticultural charcoal, and some partly composted small pine bark mulch. Topped with leftover landscaping material. Mother plant is two-headed and flowering, removed from original dish. My plants that are not two headed are too rough looking to photo right now. I let the rain water this pot.
