Thank you. This winter it was about 61 in the house. I do better medically qwhen it is cool and also, my electric bill is requiring me to reduce the temperature.

How cold is too cold? I hope the pearlite isn't a problem, and that the miracle grow general purpose potting soil is ok. I have no doubts that this plant wants to survive and hope it manages to adapt to it's new living situation. It is starting to get warmer which should help.

The plant top, cane, and origional lower part is about 3 to 5 feet from a almost southern facing window. I think it is a east to south position.

I could repot it to get it away from the perlite but I am not certain if this would help or hurt more than leaving it as it is at the moment. What are the signs of Fluoride poisoning?

I have a 412 foot deep well and as far as I know there are no man made chemicals in the water. Hopefully there isn't anything in the well water to cause any issues.
