I was very surprised at the killer offspring too since I even put it together with other darks. That was 2 years ago. Last year it went together with Gold Nugget. It was a case of using what ever was blooming at the same time. Nothing conclusive on that yet. Seedlings are still small.
But now I have the chance to try again and I do have a rather large Jungle Shadows looking for a partner but I seem to recall that you did that cross some time ago ? Might be reinventing the wheel. On the other hand it might be interesting to see what I get out of the same cross that you did years ago using a modified Polly Bishop Method and then to see what I select from the seedlings.
There are some other possibilities too
