Stephanie, the seedling is 6.5 months old, counting from the day the seed was planted,
so the actual plant is probably a week less.

I used Miracle Grow potting soil. I believe it was seed starter. Not sure, though.

One teaspoon of Miracle Grow fertilizer to a gallon of water.
I don't have the numbers on the fertilize at the moment, but definitely
not a high middle number, which is what stimulates blooming, or so I've read.

Used a 32 oz. cup of water with about a cup of the diluted fertilizer to water them
every one to two weeks. Near the end of the winter, I had to water every two
days, but did not add fertilize that often. Usually, I fertilize seedlings only once or twice
during the winter, but this year decided to try something different. Some years I don't
fertilize the seedlings at all, except when they are planted. I haven't seen a great
deal of difference in comparison of the plants fertilized or not, except for this weird bloom.

So I suspect it is the fertilize that caused this.
