Thanks, Zuzu and Sue !
This magazine eludes me at the moment. They sent me some complimentary copies and I've looked in all the above mentioned places and have yet to see it down here anywhere.
One of their photographers contacted the organizer of our local garden tour last year inquiring if they could see assorted gardens as potential subjects for the magazine. They called me and asked if they could come and look so I said yes. They came a few days later and spent the day taking pictures and were very nice. (This was in mid May of 2011)
After all was said and done they said someone would contact me around the first of this year for an "interview" for the text of the article. That never happened and in February they told me they'd be sending me copies of the magazine. My name isn't in it, but that's fine. My garden isn't the "main feature" of the issue so maybe that's why.
Anyway, it's kinda cool just the same !
This publication only comes out once a year and this is only the the 2nd issue.
The OTHER people from our tour had their garden in Romantic Homes Magazine (another publication from the same co.) Their home is very "high end" so it was a perfect fit. Mine on the other hand is just loaded with alley finds and recycled junk...so it makes sense that it's in "Flea Market" gardens. In other words, the difference between theirs and mine is: "from the sublime to the ridiculous" ! (respectively !)
