Good morning everyone.
Following the thread about honey bees. While I don't have bee hives, I have their bees. The garden is buzzing this morning with honey bees all over the lavender blooms. A symphony to me.
Started the lavender harvest today. As I cut, the bees move to the next bush. Ahhhn the scent is worth the 11 month wait !

Below represents just 1/4 of one bush. I have 60 bushes in bloom right now.

DH made this drying rack & hooks for me last fall (well actually he made the whole shed years ago). When I fill the wall with lavender, I am not troubled with mice coming into my shed. They hate the lavender scent. Once I sell the lavender, mice come back.
