Well, I just checked my newer seedling bed, and still no scapes -- bummer! I usually never fertilize once it really warms up here, but I've decided to lightly fertilize them for a few weeks in case one or more of them might throw up a scape... probably not a good idea in our heat, but I'm desperate to see something new...
I think my best seedling to date is this one:
RUFFLED PINK PERFECTION x WONDER OF IT ALL
And she's fertile!
And I would say the next one I'm pretty excited about is:
SILOAM GOLIATH x ROSE F. KENNEDY

And so far I really like this one too:

And I've kept this one around for a few years now and it really looked good to me this year: BLUE HIPPO x XYLOPHONE JAZZ
Actually, all these have already bloomed out so they're not July blooms, now that I think of it...
