I will say my guy gets a lot done in 5 hours. Those jobs would take me 5 days and thats not an exageration.
I figure I have worked so hard for 5 years getting the beds desighned and planted I just cant let it go because I'm not strong enough or have not enough stamina to maintain whats there.
The garden I showed is one of three the same size. DD takes care of her own.
This helper can identify perennials but he is just a laborer. I had him plant clems for me and I dont think he really knew what he was doing in spite of the fact he has a garden of his own.

The neighbor who recomended him said he had been her gardener for years. I dont know how old he is but he had gardened with his father when he was a little boy.
He charges $20.00 per hour but can clean all the gardens in a day. When he finishes today I will see how far he got and maybe have him come back tomorrow to do edging.
