Woofie, I did that with 2 different kinds of rosemary last year and come about January they started dying off, was able to save one (barely)and wish I had tried harder at cuttings but there wasnt enough room or light here. I guess if you have the room, then rooting cuttings would be the way instead of seeds...sometimes the little buggers can take forever to sprout not to mention growing.
