Vicky - I understand whatcha mean about the unfrozen north. My father's back in NNY and it's amazing that he has no snow on the ground. Usually this time of year everything's a boggy mess due to snow melting & his side yard is usually a small lake. Nothing! This morning was chilly.. it got cold on Monday & today's the first day it's gonna warm up. Had a small bit of frost of my van (I didn't put it in the garage last night) and a bucket of snowmelt had a thin layer of ice on it this morning, but I'm running around in short sleeves & sandals (and pants of course!!!). This weekend it's supposed to be back in the upper 70s.. almost 80! Weird! But so dry.. we're getting desperate for moisture! Every time they predict rain/snow, nada. :(
When I got to work this morning, had some neighbors stop by.
Mike - if you run outta space to put your mulch, I'll take it! I have to remulch most of my yard anyways.. the winds blew away a lot of it and with the decaying.. I just have to put down another gazillion cubic yards again. Beh.
