I am working my way through the latest edition of The Wahls Protocol to better keep my autoimmune issues in check. It's been an incredibly stressful 3 years as we helped our 13 year old daughter through her battle with brain cancer. My health had to take the back burner as we poured our focus into her fight. Heartbreakingly, she passed on February 11th. It has been so hard to pull out of the grief spiral, but sadly I know I am now both able, and need, to devote more time to my own health. I know Rachel would want that, and that is what I am using as strength.

The first edition of this book had been SO pivotal in regaining my life 5 years ago. So now I am looking forward to see the new content Dr. Wahls has added with her latest research as well as review the old content that was so helpful back then. It approaches the underlying issues of autoimmune disease, rather than the more conventional approach of symptom management. I highly recommend it. If anyone else is interested in the book, it's on kindle for $14us right now.
(I wanted to post a link to the book, but can't since I'm a newbie. The book looks like this. The latest edition of the book has the blue band across the top)
