Hi folks.
This guy (probably gal) showed up on my garden path yesterday. She was just sitting there between me and my hose. She didn't move and I didn't want to scare her, but she just sat their eyeing me. She seemed a little distressed and I was thinking about what I could do for her (not much). Finally, I inched by her and she flew away, but not before I took this picture. Is she a female norther flicker. I checked with Cornell's Merlin app and that seems to be right. David
