Anna, thanks for your comments about the brownie chocolate cake! I posted another link to the recipe from a different site since sometimes we learn more from the comments where a chef said she decreased the water and oil by 1/4 C each and added 1/2 cup sour cream! Though it is sour cream, it sounds divine! I reposted the recipe as a reference!

I don't like wasting food. Unfortunately, I have a cooked chicken I will need to throw out since it didn't get used or frozen (due to lack of freezer space) when I went to see my brother in TX. It's taken me at least 2 weeks to admit I have to throw out the chicken. I feel better knowing bad chickens get cooked!

I don't mind leftovers since it prevents waste and I usually cook extra for work and glad to have it!
Though I do like JBs idea of repurposed food! Today I had "leftover sweet potato and juice" and pork loin that i heated together and it was quite tasty! Just like fresh! Sometimes flavors better later!

Since we talked about green beans lately, I wonder if any of you have a favorite recipe for 3 bean salad?

I picked up a can of it at the store and it reminded me of how much I like this bean salad!
A lady makes it for salad lunches, she has about 5 beans in hers, including garbanzo and black beans?
The original salad includes green beans, wax beans, and kidney beans, I think.

Would you add red onion and toss with Italian dressing?
