The following cross 18-239: Montmartre X Secret Recipe
I must say that we have had abnormal weather in the South of Russia this year. in March it was 86 °F, and in April, when the foliage was already large, there were frosts (24°F). many varieties had damaged stems, were short or deformed, and often had empty buds.
Most of the seedlings from this cross had a short stalk. This may be a genetic defect, since Secret Recipe also has a short stem. Or maybe it is the negative impact of late frosts and spring droughts. So this season I did not reject these seedlings due to their growth and branching and decided to wait another year.
