I am afraid I just identified poison hemlock next to my steps to my front door. I will take more pictures when it is light. They are volunteers and the leaves are so pretty, and they grow so fast. It is mentioned that it is hard to get all the roots out. I have I think 3 plants.

Help me to identify---poison Hemlock--- It is how Ceasar was killed!

Thanks!

@tantefrancine If you think those plants are poison hemlock DO NOT touch or smell them! There are too many look alikes to positive identify so just treat as if they are the ones who killed Ceasar!

"All parts of the hemlock plant are poisonous – flowers, stems, seeds, leaves, and roots.
The roots are the most toxic part of perhaps the most lethal plant in North America.
Even just handling poison hemlock while attempting to remove it from your property could cause the toxins to attach to your skin and cause harm.
The toxins from the poison hemlock plant can enter your body (or an animal's body) through the mouth, nose, or eyes. Simply getting some toxins from the invasive and deadly plant on your hands and rubbing your eyes, can cause them to enter the body enough to cause extreme harm. The toxins on poison hemlock plants can remain active for three years, even after the plant has been removed from the ground."
Hope is a renewable resource
