True that one persons weed is another ones flower. I too have violets in my lawn, but they haven't yet invaded my beds.

I also have a stemless evening primrose that I just LOVE, and apparently it is considered a noxious weed in some places. They have a taproot like a dandelion. It just barely survives winter here, so it has never spread nor overgrown my front garden (yet). Now dandelions, THAT is another story..... And those baby maple tree seedlings - talk about aggressive! ~Jan
