Two of my pineapple sage cuttings have rooted. I saw a video on you tube about salvia cuttings. The video said to cut beneath the leaf nodes and remove the leaves close to where you cut. The roots can grow from those nodes. I just dropped them in water with a plastic drinking bottle. Also change the water daily. I do have some trouble with some salvia plants. Experimenting with a few that created algae instead of roots because I was not watching it so well.
