@ViolaAnn, thank you for the information on which hostas make good borders. I lost all my European Ginger edging to something and wanted to possibly replace it with a hosta edge that I've seen at other gardens so thanks for that great information.
This is a small hosta that I saw at the rock garden at NYBG back in 2018. At first I thought they were a silene but no, it looks like a hosta to me. Do you recognize it? In any case, they are cute and small.
