Yes, the crappy soil is perfect. Smiling I got a seedling survival rate of almost 30% - I'm happy with that. I planted 90 seeds and have 25 seedlings.

I collected a few more from the local Desert Peach bushes this year but then discovered the desert peach seeds in an area near Genoa are much larger so collected a few more there.

Now to figure out what to do with them all. I'll plant a few and a friend in Gardnerville wants a couple.

I also grew some Single-leaf pinyons (Pinus monophylla), couple Jeffrey Pines and a whole slew of Prunus Mume. Need any plants? Whistling
