Hi Ursula,

I just took some photos of my Den smilliae today, was wondering if your Dens are doing the same thing.

Have noticed that at the lower portion of the cane, the sheaths seems to be peeling off and gradually exposing the greener part of the cane:

And the leaves are going deciduous from the top of one of the canes:

I have read the links you gave me, just want to understand a little better..so after blooming or as it near its bloom time end, the leaves are to fall off as well Confused ...so does that mean even though it is now Spring, it is heading towards a dormant phase?
