Hi all! I recently moved into a home with a few beautiful rose bushes planted out back. Well, they were beautiful when I moved in, in May of 2020. In July, through the heat of Texas summer and my lack in consistency of watering, the roses turned brown, appeared dead. I read up on pruning and pruned this one bush, as it was massive and the roses were brown. After pruning I was consistent with watering and we got some good rain here in Texas. Over the past few weeks I thought the bush was suffering from what I read is called rose rosette. I see the coloring of such, but not an excess amount of thorns. The growth isn't exactly normal looking but that could be due to my pruning job. Now, it seems to be blooming, but I really can't tell if these are normal blooms or not. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Pics from today attached and a picture of what the roses looked like prior to my pruning, etc.! Thank you!
